For those of you new to the adoption lingo, DTE is short for "Dossier to Ethiopia". Our DTE date is September 29th. This date is when our official wait for a referral begins. Currently America World (our adoption agency) is predicting a 7-9 month waiting period for a female infant. That puts us in Ethiopia some time next summer. Let the count down begin!!

congratulations! (I figure that's like finding out you're pregnant so I figured "congratulations" was the right word choice!)
